Over 170 charged in Arizona immigration enforcement operation

Over 170 people in Arizona are facing immigration-related charges following a week-long operation. Of the charges, 124 are accused of illegally re-entering the United States after previously being removed. Federal prosecutors also charged 18 people in 17 separate cases for allegedly smuggling people into and around Arizona. The operation took place from February 28 to March 6.
