The Portland Winterhawks have been defeated by the Everett Silvertips, leading 3-0 in their 1st round series. The Silvertip outshot Portland 50-19 and has now outscored them 19-2 in the series. This loss could lead to a record-breaking series for the lowest goal scored in a series and largest margin in history. All four top seeds in the Western Hockey League have a chance to sweep this series.
