Mithun, a design firm founded in 1949 by Omer Mithun, is known for its collaborative approach to harmony among the human, natural, and built environments. The practice covers architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and urban design, with projects spanning educational, cultural, civic, and business sectors. Each project is hyper-tailored to client's needs rather than an in-house style. The firm has offices in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and has over 200 staff. In 2023, it received the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture Firm Award. In 2025, the firm is set to debut projects for high-profile Seattle cultural institutions highlighting its significant impact on the city.
