Ruthless pitcher Lodolo has been diagnosed with a blistering issue following his final Spring Training start on March 22 and opened the season on the 15-day injured list. The short-term plan involves rest before he resumes playing catch and if successful, Lodolo could return to the rotation during the current road trip stop at Miami. This is not the first time the blister has affected Lodolo; he has previously had issues in 2021, while in the Minors, and also during his past two seasons with Cincinnati. The Reds are also without Hunter Greene, who is expected to return in July after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips from his right elbow.
