Ex-Zomato CEO's new startup and xAI's early payback

Ex-Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has founded a new startup, Temple, which raised $54m at an over $190m valuation. Gropyus, an Austrian robotic building materials company, raised €100m from Vonovia and Semapa Next. QL Biopharm, a Beijing obesity biotech, raised $72m in Series C funding. Ease Health, a NYC-based maker of software for behavioral health providers raised $41m and Smack Technologies, an El Sungundo, Calif.-based national security AI lab, raised a total of $32m. Other notable startups include Firmable in Australia and 14.ai in the US.
