Utah State University has begun its national search for its new men's basketball coach, following the departure of Jerrod Calhoun to the University of Cincinnati. This is the fifth coach in seven years after previous coaches Danny Sprinkle, Ryan Odom, and Craig Smith all left for other positions. The Aggies finished the 2025–26 season with 29 wins, reaching the 25-win mark for the fourth consecutive year for the first time in program history. Utah State has played in four consecutive NCAA Tournaments and was selected for the 2020 NCAA Tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
