The North Carolina Republican Senate 26th District race remains too close to call. The two candidates are separated by two votes. The final count of 2026 votes is still being counted. Sheriff Page, who claimed victory on the night of the election, has questioned the integrity of this election. He also questioned the closure of the Rockingham County Board of Elections and the involvement of state AUDITOR DAVE BULLOCK in this controversy. Meanwhile, Senator Phil BERGER has countered that the final count will determine the outcome of the race.
