Las Vegas gas prices jump 12 cents in a day

Gas prices in the Las Vegas Valley surged overnight, with a 12-cent increase per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline on average, as the effects of the Iran war are beginning to be felt at the pump. The price of a gallon of gas jumped from $3.72 on Tuesday to $3.,84 on Wednesday, and the price of gas is now up by 15 cents in the last week and 32 cents over the last month. The national average increased by 12.1 cents per gallon between Monday and Tuesday, marking the largest single-day increase since 2022. Meanwhile, statewide, Nevada saw a smaller increase of 9-cent per gallon, with the average rising from $73.73 to $2.82 per gallon.
