NIT bracket, scores, schedule 2026: No. 1 seeds Auburn, Tulsa to meet in title game Sunday with semifinal wins

The 2026 NIT championship game will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. No. 1 seed Auburn will face No. 2 seed Tulsa, who defeated No. 4 seed Illinois State 88-66. Tulsa advanced with a 74-69 victory over No.1 seed New Mexico State. This will be Tulsa's third NIT crown. This marks Auburn's first time reaching the NIT quarterfinals. Other power conference teams including Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, Belmont, and San Diego State declined bids to the tournament after missing out on the NCAA Tournament.
