Portland sex offender charged with raping a different woman while fugitive in murder case

A convicted sex offender, Aquize Gerrian Tyquan Logan, has been charged with raping a different woman while on the run for allegedly killing a 14-year-old boy and wounding three others in late February. The incident occurred in Southeast Portland. Logan was arrested after police responded to a report of an alleged assault and rape on Feb. 27. The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) found Logan hiding in the driveway of a nearby home. At the time of his arrest, Logan had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for allegedly shooting and killing Marik Roscoe on Nov. 16, 2025. In January 2021, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting and raping another woman in Gresham.
