4 Republicans oppose adding SAVE voting requirements to budget plan

Four Republican senators from the Senate voted against adding voting requirements to their budget plan, which was proposed by their Republican colleague John Kennedy. The measure failed on a 48-50 vote, falling short of the 60 votes needed to pass.
