Ottawa police officer injured in shooting Friday evening

A shooting in Ottawa, Kansas, has left one of the city's police officers in a stable condition. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Kansas City Police Department (KPD) are assisting in apprehending a homicide suspect. The suspect is not currently in custody.
