Long Beach State men’s volleyball falls to Hawai’i in NCAA semifinals

Long Beach State's men's volleyball team has lost to second-seeded Hawai'i in the NCAA semifinals, missing out on their second consecutive championship game. The loss was a 3-1 victory at Pauley Pavilion, with Skyler Varga leading with 13 kills and hitting.290. This was the fourth time this season that the two Big West Conference teams had met. Long Beach State struggled in the first set, with a poor hitting percentage and nine service errors. The Rainbow Warriors will play unseeded UC Irvine in the championship game on Monday.
