The weather is expected to return to summer-like temperatures this afternoon, with temperatures expected to reach mid-80s and potentially record highs. The Atlantic sea breeze will remain present, leading to a high rip current risk for the coastline of northeast Florida and a moderate risk for southeast Georgia beaches. The dry air and wind will create an elevated fire danger, so avoid outdoor burning. The weather will also be windy, with gusts near 20 mph.
