Blistering Week-Long Heat Wave To Hit Bay Area

The National Weather Service has issued a long-awaited heat advisory for the Bay Area, including coastal and inland counties from south of Monterey County to Sonoma County. Temperatures are expected to reach mid-80s along the coast and mid-90s in interior areas. The advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a minor risk of heatstroke.
