Police from Johnson County, Indiana, arrested 19 men on preliminary child solicitation charges during a three-day operation in Johnson County. The operation involved police from several local police departments, including those from Franklin, Bargersville, Greenfield, and Westfield, as well as county prosecutors. The suspects range in age from 19 to 68 and use chat sites and apps to contact suspected underage children. The sheriff described the operation as emotionally taxing and expressed disgust over the potential exploitation of minors. Since 2022, the county's large-scale enforcement efforts have resulted in over 100 arrests in similar stings. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is working with prosecutors to build cases against the 19 men.
