Alabama's second-leading scorer, Aden Holloway, has been removed from the men's basketball team following his arrest for possession of marijuana. Holloway will be off the team while Alabama's Office of Student Conduct investigates his actions. The arrest occurred after agents from the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force conducted a search of a residence near the Tuscaloosa campus and found more than a pound of marijuana, paraphernalia and cash. The university has stated it is aware of the allegations and is preparing to play without Holloway. The charge of first-degree possession of pot-not-for-personal-use is a Class C felony and carries a sentence of up to 10 years in jail and a $15,000 fine.
