The head of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has stated that more diversity in the force is the key to maintaining trust with the public and combating security threats. Speaking at the 17th New South Wales Parliamentary Friendship and Dialogue Iftar Dinner, Krissy Barrett stated that she wants the force to resemble the communities it serves.
