Fargo Force defenseman Garrett Lindberg has been named one of the 16 finalists for the USHL's Gaudreau Award, which honors the player who best embodies the traits and attributes of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreys, who were killed by an alleged drunk driver in 2024. The award was created to honor their legacy and serve as an exemplar of excellence, character, and heart both on and off the ice. Lindberg, a former player for the U.S. National Team, has scored six goals and 16 assists for the Force this season. The league is looking to expand with three Eastern Conference teams and one Western Conference team, while looking for the right building.
