Watch out, Londoners – two London tube lines will be closed this weekend

Two London tube lines, including the Piccadilly and District lines, will be closed this weekend, along with DLR and several Overground services. The disruption will be due to planned closures and service alterations, rather than strikes. Several busy TfL services will be affected, including those between Earls Court and Ealing Broadway/Richmond, and no trains between Hyde Park Corner and Acton Town. However, don't let this disruption deter you from exploring London this weekend. Bus strikes in east London will impact travel on Friday April 17, interrupting services into Saturday morning (until 5am or so).
