Ian Rapoport signing multiyear ESPN deal after $3 billion NFL Network takeover

ESPN has secured a multiyear deal with longtime NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, becoming the first employee to reach such a new deal after the company's $3 billion purchase of NFL Network. The deal will reportedly be completed after ESPN absorbed the existing contracts of the talent. The NFL received a 10 percent equity stake in ESPN as part of the deal.
