Francis Leverone, a 78-year-old Massachusetts man, was rescued from a fiery car crash on February 27 after his truck collided with a parked dump truck full of snow. Another car also rear-ended Leverone's truck, causing both vehicles to go up in flames. Leverone was trapped inside his vehicle after dislocating his leg, but help quickly arrived. Two brothers who were passing by helped Easton police officer Dean Soucie pull Leverone out of his truck. In addition to the leg injury, Leverone also sustained a dislocated hip, a broken wrist and cuts to his face.
