The first season of Spider-Noir, based on the Marvel comic of the same name, has already begun considering ideas for season 2 of the live-action series set in New York City in 1933. Showrunner Oren Uziel revealed that future seasons could explore the city's descent into World War 2, which officially began in 1939. The showrunner suggested that the setting could provide an "enormous canvas" for future storylines. The first season will pick up on the heels of Nicolas Cage's private investigator Ben Reilly, who is seen as struggling to balance his identity as a hero after a personal loss.
