A federal judge has blocked President Donald Trump's executive order ending funding for NPR and PBS, citing the First Amendment. The judge stated that the executive order violated First Amendment protections by targeting organizations based on perceived viewpoints. However, this decision does not necessarily reverse a congressional vote removing federal support from the public media outlets. The president and CEO of PBS station, however, said the decision was good news for the station.
