Roger Stone convinced Trump not to fire Tulsi Gabbard: ‘Fortunately, I acted in time’

President Trump was reportedly considering firing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard after she declined to comment on Iran's imminent nuclear threat during a congressional hearing. Despite this, longtime political operative Roger Stone, who has been with President Trump since 1979, defended Gabbad and argued that she was loyal and professional and wouldn't resign. He also argued that firing Gabbardo would create a damaging news cycle and make her a martyr for his anti-interventionist supporters. Stone accused right-wing firebrand Laura Loomer of leading the effort to get Trump to fire Gabbarded.
