‘Descendants: The Rise of Red,’ ‘Sesame Street,’ ‘Heartstopper’ Star Joe Locke Among Top Children’s & Family Emmy Awards Winners (FULL LIST)

The Disney+/Disney Channel/Disney Jr. dominated the Children’s & Family Emmys, landing the most wins of any outlet, with Disney's "Descendants: The Rise of Red" winning five Emmys. The show was the night's most-awarded show, with "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" winning four. Other winners included HBO Max’�s “Sesame Street” with four wins, including outstanding preschool, children’Sesame St, and “Andrew Garfield and Elmo Explain Grief” winning for short form live action program and best puppetry. Netflix earned the second-most Emmys of the evening with 10, including five for “Sweet Tooth” and five for Christian Convery. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which runs the Children's & Family Awards, moved the event to New York for the first time. Bill Nye received the Lifetime Achievement Award and hosted the show.
