A coalition of Long Beach and Island Park residents led a Car Safety Fair at Long Beach High School, aimed at teaching students about the dangers of driving while intoxicated. The event was part of an effort to counter trends of underage DWI arrests increasing in Long Island, with a 110 percent increase year-over-year. An interactive driving simulator was also featured.
