A 4,800-plus square foot home in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, is being listed for $3.75 million with Brandon Curry of Signature Sotheby's International Realty. The home, built by current owners Nancy and Peter Stockman, incorporates materials salvaged from Ford's disused Wixom Assembly Plant, which was shuttered in 2007 after 50 years. The architect and friend Larry Raymond, who was part of the Albert Kahn Architectural Firm, designed the home with an emphasis on open, light-filled spaces, was also involved in its design. The house's attention to detail, including stone construction, lush water gardens, and mature landscaping, is deeply personal and deeply personal.
