First Look: SyberJet takes off and Kraken hits pause

Phoenix-based jet startup SyberJet, led by Nikola founder Trevor Milton, is seeking to raise $1b at a $4b valuation and is in talks to raise up to $150m for a Hong Kong-based stablecoin payments startup RedotPay. Latent Health raised $80 million in Series A funding, with participation from several major companies including Spark Capital and Transformation Capital, and RunSybil. Other notable startups include Run Sybil, a $40m AI cybersecurity startup, and BusRight, an NYC-based student transportation startup, which raised over $30m led by Volition Capital. Meanwhile, Latent Healthcare raised $60m in its Series A round, with a $600m valuation. Other startups include CallSybil, an AI-influenced startup that raised $40 million and an online funeral planning startup, Meadow, a NYC funeral planning company that raised more than $9m in a Series A. round led by Lachy Groom and Haystack. The announcement comes as Kraken, a crypto exchange valued at $20b, has paused its IPO plans. Other tech companies include Stax Payments, SouthernCarlson, Tech24, and Tech24.
