Benita Fitzgerald Mosley, the new CEO of the U.S. Center for SafeSport, has shared her vision and role in the role. The organization was founded in response to sexual misconduct issues within USA Gymnastics, a law passed in 2017. Since its creation, it has three pillars: adjudication, response, and disciplinary database. It covers the entire U.-S. Olympic and Paralympic movement in the United States. Additionally, it conducts education and research in the area of safeguarding or safe sport. FitzgeraldMosley's goal is to build a strategy and operating plan that meets the needs of athletes, staff, parents, national governing bodies and more.
