The NFL is set to begin free agency on March 9, with teams allowed to negotiate deals with agents. The Seattle Seahawks, the Super Bowl champion, have some important free agents looking for new deals. The San Francisco 49ers, including safety Talanoa Hufanga, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, offensive guard Aaron Banks, cornerback Charvarius Ward, and offensive tackle Jaylon Moore, were also traded away. The New England Patriots also made significant investments in free agency, landing players such as Milton Williams, Stefon Diggs, Carlton Davis, Harold Landry, Robert Spillane and Morgan Moses. The Seahawks' Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III's contract is up, and they are unlikely to use a tag to retain him. Meanwhile, defensive players Boye Mafe, Josh Jobe, and Riq Woolen are set to be on the market.
