Strange Fireballs Light Up CA Skies

A fireball was observed on Sunday, March 22, near the California town of Chowchilla, traveling 35,000 mph before breaking apart. The American Meteor Society reported that at least two hundred people across the country reported seeing the phenomenon. This is not the first time this has been observed, but it is believed that this particular fireball was not connected to previous sightings.
