This Michelin-starred Indian restaurant from Chicago is opening in NYC

Chef Sujan Sarkar is opening Indienne, a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant from Chicago, at Henry Hall in Hudson Yards this summer. The opening marks a high-profile homecoming for Sarkar, who previously gained national acclaim with Baar Baar in Chicago. Since its debut in 2022, Indienne has been a major disruptor in the fine dining space and achieved a Michein star within its first year. The restaurant will serve a 34-seat format, incorporating regional flavors of the subcontinent into classical European techniques. The first of three concepts Sarkar plans to launch within Henry Hall.
