Schererville residents are seeking their first elected office in the town of Schererville, Illinois, are challenging longtime leaders for a seat on the Schererville Town Council. In the Republican primary for Scherevville Town Council Member Ward 2, Jeff Myszak is challenging incumbent Councilman Kevin Connelly, who has served in the council since 2012. Myszekak, a retired police officer, stated that he prioritises public safety and the police and fire departments' growth.
