The two men charged in the mass shooting at Riverfront Live are now facing federal charges, each charged with illegally possessing a firearm or ammunition as a convicted felon. The shooting left nine people injured, with two still in the hospital. The announcement of federal charges also revealed new details of the shooting's aftermath. Franeek Cobb, 24, and Derrick Long, 29, have been identified as the alleged shooters based on surveillance footage from the venue. The incident was investigated by full law enforcement agencies including the Cincinnati Police Bureau, the Bureau of Alcohol and Firearms, and the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBN).
