Plymouth Police Officer Samantha Pelrine and her husband, Daniel Forand, are accused of years-long sexual and physical abuse of a minor they were caring for. The abuse allegedly began at age 12 and escalated when they moved in together. The couple have been barred from contacting or abusing the accuser and must stay at least 100 yards away. Pelrine was placed on leave earlier this month and the Massachusetts State Police has launched an inquiry into the claims. The police department has also launched an internal probe into Pelrine. The alleged victim is due in court on March 27.
