French chef Bernard Loiseau, known for his work as a renowned chef and inspiration for the character of Chef Auguste Gusteau in Pixar's Ratatouille, is set to be explored in a biopic. The film will be developed and produced by Thomas Lilti, who is known for exploring the lives of people in the medical profession. The project is part of the Mediawan Group and 31 Juin Films, with the collaboration of Chi-Fou-Mi Productions and Loiseaus' family to develop and produce the film. Loisea was one of France's top chefs during the 1990s and early 2000s and later took his own life in 2003. His family is fully supportive of the planned feature.
