‘Full confidence’: Gov. Green names Keith Regan as acting lieutenant governor

Gov. Josh Green has named Keith Regan as acting lieutenant governor, effective immediately following Sylvia Luke's decision to take a leave of absence amid a campaign finance probe. Regan, the comptroller of the state Department of Accounting and General Services, will assume the role while continuing to assist the acting comptroller. This designation aligns with state law regarding the continuity of duties within the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Deputy Comptroller Meoh-Leng Silliman will be serving as acting administrator during this period.
