iOS 26.4 has introduced two new Ambient Music widgets to its Home Screen. The widgets offer one-tap playback for up to four'mood' playlists and can be added to the screen. They are designed to provide glanceable information or convenient actions. The larger Ambient Media widget offers access to all four mood playlists, with one-option play buttons available for each. The new widgets also allow users to customize music for each mood. All features are currently connected to Apple Music, so Spotify users won't benefit from the new widgets.
