Benet High School Senior Center, Colin Stack, scored the winning free throw with 1.1 seconds left to secure a place in the Class 4A state semifinal game at the State Farm Center. The Redwing will now face Marist in the state final, following a 33-game winning streak. Senior guard Jayden Wright and junior forward Edvardas Stasys scored a combined 11 points for Benet. DePaul Prep had previously won the 2A state title in 2023 and 3A in 2000.
