Eurovision Confirms First Asian Edition With Bangkok Set To Host

The first Asian Eurovision Song Contest has been confirmed, with Bangkok set to host the grand final on November 14. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and live-events producer Voxovation have partnered with S2O Productions and Thailand’s Channel 3 for the event. Broadcasters from ten countries are confirmed to participate, including South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Cambodia and Laos, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. The selection is a boon for Bangkok, which houses filming for films such as White Lies and John Rambo.
