The argument escalated when the boy’s mother, who is three months pregnant, informed him about the impact of the weed on her unborn baby's health. During the argument, Hightowers retrieved a gun from a shoebox in his room and fired at Davis, striking him once in the chest and again in the arm. The rapper's new song, "Slidin," has been gaining traction on local hip-hop stations and has been used in an Instagram reel by rapper 50 Cent. HIGHTower has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
