Despite relentless bombing, Oliver stated that despite efforts by the U.S. and the Pentagon, Iran has been able to strike multiple countries in the region, and the Iranian government is still managing to strike several other countries. He also questioned the legitimacy of Operation Epic Fury, which Oliver compared to the name of an energy drink marketed to divorced monster-truck fans. Oliver also noted that despite the Pentagon's request for an additional $200 billion in funding for the operation, the Pentagon has yet to confirm its plans to continue.
