Judge denies former Stoughton officer accused of killing Sandra Birchmore’s motion to have case dismissed

The judge in the case of Matthew Farwell, a former Stoughton police officer, has denied a motion to dismiss the case. Farwell is accused of murdering 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore and her unborn baby in 2021. Prosecutors claim that Farwell staged her death to make it appear as though she had committed suicide.
