UW-River Falls Women's Hockey make Division III history with third straight title

UW-River Falls women's hockey team made history by defeating Nazareth 4-0 to secure their third consecutive national championship. The Falcons finished 30-1 and became the third program in NCAA Division III women’s hockey to win three consecutive titles. They closed a three-year period with an 87-4-2 overall record under head coach Joe Cranston. The victory follows a successful year for the Wisconsin system, with the women winning the Division I national championship and the men advancing to the Frozen Four.
