Mystic Restaurant, Chef Win James Beard Nominations

Two Connecticut chefs and a wine and beverages program are advancing in the James Beard Foundation culinary awards program. The annual awards recognise chefs, restaurateurs, food writers, critics and journalists. Outstanding Chef: David Standridge of The Shipwright’s Daughter in Mystic, and Best Chef - Northeast: David DiStasi of Materia Ristorante in Bantam. The winners will be announced on June 15 at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago.
