The first season of the Apple TV drama "Drops of God" ended on a high note, with Camille Leger (Stanley Weber) winning a competition set by her late, estranged father Alexandre (Alexandre Leger), sending half of his wine collection to his protegé and rival Issei Tomine (Tomohisa Yamashita), who she'd discovered was Alexandre's son through an affair. However, Season 2 ended with a less celebratory finale, which saw Camille lose her fiancée Thomas, and Issei left adrift. The show's creator, Quoc Dang Tran, departed for other projects and writer Sonia Moyersoen provided behind-the-scenes continuity between seasons.
