Alex Martins joins Orlando Magic Hall of Fame during emotional ceremony

Former CEO of the Orlando Magic, Alex Martins, has been inducted into the 14th inductee of the Magic Hall of Fame. Martins was unveiled at a ceremony attended by Magic chairman Dan DeVos and current and former Magic executives and employees. He served as CEO for 14 seasons from 2011-25 and joined Pat Williams, Nick Anderson, Shaquille O’Neal, Penny Hardaway, Jimmy Hewitt, Tracy McGrady, David Steele, Darrell Armstrong, Brian Hill, Dennis Scott, and Dwight Howard in the Hall of Famers' Class 2014. Despite stepping down as CEO last summer, Martins still represents the Magic as the team's alternate governor to the NBA Board of Governors and oversees operations in the Orlando Solar Bears and the Osceola Magic of the NBA G League.
