Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks has stated that he will not use Generative AI in his personal games of Dungeons & Dragons or Magic: The Gathering. Despite previously believing that such a move was inevitable, Cocks now acknowledges that the public and creators of these games and games do not want it. He described generative AI usage in creative processes as "garbage in, obscenity out" and stated that humans inspire the good ideas and follow through on them. Both games have already had anti-AI guidelines in place, following public backlashes to early experimental use of the technology.
