Red Sox are breaking Dave Portnoy — and costing him tons of money in bets

Sports media company founder Dave Portnoy is fed up with the Red Sox, blaming them for winning only one of their first six games this season and costing him money in bets. Portynoy accused the team of settling for mediocrity and not trying to win, and suggested that owner John Henry should sell the team. He also criticized the team for not paying for star players and for not investing in stars like Alex Bregman. Since Boston's Opening Day victory, the team has lost five straight games and was swept by the Astros.
